The Culture and Rural Development Foundation (CRUDEF) is a registered non-profit organization based in Buea, Cameroon. Our mission is to promote and preserve indigenous culture and art, advance sustainable rural development through climate-smart agriculture and clean water access, and deliver principled humanitarian assistance to vulnerable and displaced communities across the region.
CRUDEF is headquartered in Buea, South West Region, with operational reach extending across rural communities in Cameroon. We primarily support rural farming households, women, youth, displaced families, and cultural custodians by providing emergency relief, vocational grants, agricultural resources, and heritage preservation programs.
CRUDEF safeguards Cameroonian cultural heritage by recording oral traditions and indigenous languages, organizing local art festivals, supporting traditional artisans with tools and grants, and establishing regional cultural centers for community transmission and art therapy.
